Educational Support Consultant
Elisabeth Klauburg
Meet Elisabeth Klauburg! She loves to read, stand up paddle board, play and listen to music, and volunteer as a docent at the zoo. There are some things she loves more than all these combined and that is her own little zoo at home. Current furbaby count is 5 dogs (all Huskies!), 2 cats, 2 rats, and a blind fish. Luckily, she was able to find someone who manages to put up with her furbaby-crazy lifestyle and remain sane. She and her husband spend their days being bossed around by their four-legged kids (the fish is pretty low maintenance) and vacuuming… LOTS AND LOTS OF VACUUMING!
She has thus far spent most of her professional life in retail customer service/ management roles for places like Gadzooks, New York and Company, and most recently Barnes and Noble, where she worked her way up through the ranks.
Elisabeth’s family moved to Evansville when she was 5, so she considers herself a native. After graduating from William Henry Harrison High School 2003, she continued her education at Western Kentucky University and earning a BA in 2007. Her dual major in writing and literature fits perfectly with her love of reading.
She is a very motivated individual and loves a challenge. Motivating Systems is a perfect fit, not only in name, but in opportunity. It is a challenging, engaging, positive environment that’s a blast to work in!
Elisabeth enjoys tackling all the things in life that make life interesting. Whether it is traveling, trying different things, or making new memories, she is always open to new experiences.
Favorites include (but not limited to): Snuggle time with her kiddos (yes, she is one of THOSE people who consider her furbabies her kids), warm days spent floating around on her paddle board, rainy days tucked in with a good book, swing dancing the night away, the smell of Fall, and snow.
