Emily Whitmarsh

In her role as an Educational Support Specialist, Emily can relate to the challenges teachers experience across all grade levels. That’s because over the course of her teaching career, she’s taught at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels!  Plus, the middle and high school years were spent teaching math… so educators – she understands!

The position of Educational Support Specialist has as its foundation a supportive working environment, and that’s what Emily loves about working at MoSys. Knowing that you have the support of your coworkers makes all the difference in your workweek.

When it comes to off-the-clock activities, Emily and her husband, Drew, like to go to live sporting events and particularly enjoy football and hockey. And instead of a cat or dog for a pet, they have two pet rabbits, Lilo and Bahn. She also likes to bake, get crafty, go shopping, and hang out at home. An avid reader, Emily favors the Kate Burkholder crime thriller series written by Linda Castillo.

As you might expect from a Florida native, Emily’s favorite food is Caribbean food. Her go-to meal is a Cuban sandwich, black beans and yellow rice, and fried plantains!
