PBIS School Consultant
Matt has, once again, found a place to inform and entertain. As a 22-year classroom teacher, he brings his knowledge and skill from the classroom, and as a lifelong actor, singer, writer and director, he brings his love of professional speaking, giving demos, and occasionally breaking into song. Just don’t ask him to dance.
Matt functioned as a high school speech, English, debate and theatre teacher with the additional responsibilities of being the fine arts chair, curriculum developer, and theatre director. He received his Masters in Elementary Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi but wasn’t lucky enough to meet famous alumnus Brett Favre – yet.
The past couple years have seen him play Atticus Finch in a critically-acclaimed production of To Kill a Mockingbird, speak to over 200 schools through “reACT to Bullying,” the bully prevention program he founded, and become the father of twins. He’s currently looking forward to a nap.
